Graduation from Combat Advisor Training

Today was a special day, not only because I am leaving Fort Polk for12 days of leave prior to deploying, but also because Stephanie and the kids were at the graduation ceremony.

Stephanie and I thought that it would be great to spend more time together prior to my departure. Also, I believe it wasbeneficial for the kids to see the graduation and meet my battle buddies. This deployment is just as much theirs as it is mine. I want them to remember these moments and understand that others are making a similar sacrifice. Thank you for traveling to see me; I really do appreciate what you do. You are the best!
